Supporting the game: the donation rules

The essentials

• A donation supports the development of the game. It is voluntary, and gives nothing in return.
• Donations are reserved for adults.
• A donation does not entitle you to any tax receipt.

1. What a donation is

1.1 A donation is a voluntary payment, of the amount you choose, to support the development of Afterlife Horizon Online. It entitles you to nothing in return: no item, no advantage, no reward, neither in the game nor on the game's Discord server. It is not a purchase, an investment or an entry into a prize draw.

1.2 You can donate once, or every month if the platform offers it. A monthly donation stops whenever you want, from your account on the platform that receives it (on PayPal, in the payment settings, under automatic payments). If you cannot manage it, write to us: we will help you stop it.

1.3 Donations are reserved for adults: eighteen, or the age of majority in your country if it is higher.

1.4 A donation entitles you to no tax receipt and to no tax reduction: the game is published neither by an association nor by a public-interest organisation.

2. Who receives your donation

2.1 Your donation is received by the creator of the game, a natural person who publishes it under the name “Reloaders”, until the company Reloaders is registered. It supports the project.

2.2 Donations go through PayPal or Buy Me a Coffee, whose payments are processed by Stripe. These platforms apply their own terms and their own fees, and process your data under their own policies: your name, your address and your means of payment never go through our servers.

2.3 No donation is linked to your game account. What these platforms show or send us about a donor (their name, their message, the amount) stays with them and in our mailbox: we copy it nowhere else, except in the file of a refund request (our privacy policy, article 2.15). Buy Me a Coffee may display the latest supporters on our support page, under its settings and ours. We will not send you any advertising because you donated.

3. Getting a refund

3.1 A donation made by mistake — a wrongly typed amount, a duplicate donation — is refunded to you: write to support@afterlife-game.com with the date and amount of the donation.

3.2 If a minor has donated, one of their parents can write to us at support@afterlife-game.com with the date and amount of the donation: it is refunded, without discussion.

3.3 The refund goes through the platform that received the donation, as long as it allows it — on PayPal, for one hundred and eighty days. After that, or if the platform does not allow it, by another means, agreed with you.
